Para mim esta é uma boa imagem para sintetizar a matéria relacionada com a reprodução humana, pois consegue apresentar todas as fases do desenvolvimento do ser humano, assim como um “filme” da criação do bebé desde uma única célula até ao feto.
In my opinion, this is a great infographic because it condenses all stages of the human embryo in a single image. However, I find that having numbered areas with their explanation on another part of the image detracts a little from the whole experience (we’re back to just reading, after all!). Maybe if the explanatory text could be incorporated in the animated image as well it would be better to memorize the whole information (perhaps having animated text too)?
Nonetheless, it’s obvious that animated infographics can be useful for learning because they can harbor a lot of information (sometimes even quite complex info) and lay it all out in a simple and attractive way, making it all more easy to grasp both by people used to deal with it and by people who never had anything to do with such subjects. Therefore, it would make a mighty useful tool for both teachers and students.
Regarding other educational themes besides Biology that could be used in an animated or nonanimated infographic, I think History would be a good one. Considering that it’s a text-heavy subject that requires interiorizing a lot of information, such as dates, names, etc., if a certain historic topic were to be transitioned to an animated infographic it would make it all more enticing and easier to memorize. I found a few History related infographics, but for some reason they all seem to be nonanimated… Thankfully though, they resort to using colored illustrations and a big font size, so they do work! Here’s one of them:
This infographic is pretty good to get a first impression of what the fetus goes through! Animation is really important to understand the continuity of the process. Usually with just a few pictures to show the development stages, many information gets lost. I believe in the future infographics will be a fundamental tool in education. You should do one with the Menstrual Cycle! The uterus, ovaries and hormonal changes would be much easier to explain with animation.
Aqui está um belo exemplo de como este tipo de imagens animadas ajuda na aprendizagem. Esta dinâmica permite visualizar com mais precisão ou mesmo elucidar um tema em que tenhamos mais dificuldade. Sabemos que em Ciência, nomeadamente nas Ciências biológicas, é por vezes difícil visualizarmos determinados conteúdos, por serem matérias mais abstractas ou até mesmo por envolverem várias coisas em simultâneo, como no caso acima. Recorrer à multimédia revela-se hoje em dia fundamental no ensino e aprendizagem. Posso dizer que foi assim que assimilei grande parte dos conteúdos de Biologia no secundário.
Esta foi sinceramente a melhor animação que vi sobre o desenvolvimento do feto, desde a fertilização até nascimento. Super educativa e de tão fácil compreensão! Os meus parabéns!
